PET Containers

We have a tried and tested range of barrier containers that provide fantastic resistance to even the most aggressive chemicals.

It is common in our industry that when packing solvent-based formulations into plastic (HDPE) containers, the contents will over a period of time migrate through the walls of the bottle. As the volume of the contents inside the container is reduced a vacuum is created causing the wall to suck in, this is referred to as ‘panelling’. We have a range of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) products designed with specific properties that will vastly improve chemical resistance and ensure the integrity of your packaging remains intact.

Containers made from PET have good resistance to aggressive chemicals. PET’s inherent barrier properties prevent solvent migration, protect and preserve packaged products against moisture (oxygen migration) and carbon dioxide.
